The Three Characters of Seduction is a seduction paradigm suggested by Richard La Ruina in his book [[The Natural: How to Effortlessly Attract the Women You Want]]. This concept guides men through navigating pick-up interactions with women. The method involves adopting three personas at different stages of the interaction, ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing the chances of success. [[File:The Natural - Three Characters of Seduction.jpg|thumb|The Three Characters of Seduction, their order, their purpose]] == Mr. Sociable == This persona is characterized by high energy, great first impressions, and a relaxed attitude that makes people feel comfortable. Mr. Sociable initiates the conversation, engages with the group, and keeps the atmosphere light and positive. Key skills include holding eye contact, using gestures, being expressive, and being mostly positive and enjoyable. Examples of Mr. Sociable: Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers, and Ryan Reynolds in Van Wilder. == Mr. Comfort == After integrating into a group or establishing initial contact with a woman, Mr. Comfort emerges. This character listens attentively, finds common interests, and builds rapport with the woman. However, staying in this persona for too long may lead to being perceived as a friend rather than a romantic interest. Key skills include active listening, projecting fondness, and humanizing oneself. Examples of Mr. Comfort: David Schwimmer in Friends, John Krasinski in The Office, and Jason Segel in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. == Mr. Seducer == This character is unapologetic about his sexual intentions and smoothly signals his interest in the woman. Mr. Seducer emerges gradually as the man learns more about the woman, justifying his attraction to her. Key skills include revealing desire, speaking slowly, adding pauses, introducing touching, and maintaining a slow, seductive rhythm. Examples of Mr. Seducer: Ryan Phillippe in Cruel Intentions, Johnny Depp in Don Juan DeMarco, and Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black. == Other references == Bobby Rio explains an eerily similar concept in his video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyusAQCnGZI The Chemistry Equation: Make Her Attracted in 5 Minutes or Less]
